Shana Tova to all our Jewish families!

Active Spelling Activity Cards

Just some fun activities to do with our weekly spelling words.

Spelling for Grade 1 this term.

We will be writing spelling tests on Fridays starting from this week. Please do not let your children know that they are writing tests! This places enormous, unnecessary pressure on them. You should make sure that they practice the spelling words daily, on the provided spelling sheets. There is also a sentence for dictation. When writing the words, you can make use of the 'Look, say, cover, write, check' method.
